Cry For Silence, My Mind's Weapon, Aconite Thrill, Head Hung Low.

Lev 2 Esquires Bedford. Friday 9th September 2005.

A full on metal night kept the fans happy tonight. Aconite Thrill, Cry for Silence and My Mind's Weapons are just into a full UK tour - infact, they had travelled up from the previous nights gig in Southampton and with Sheffield, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London still to come, tonight was Bedford's turn!

A slightly disappointing turn out saw HEAD HUNG LOW make their second appearance here after their debut at the Days of Reckoning gig in May. A heavy set saw songs 'Mercury in the Vaccine' and 'Plagued' stand out. Lets hope they make a swift return as these boys sweat by the bucketload.

MY MINDS WEAPON and ACONITE THRILL keep the volume turned up to eleven as the small crowd were seemingly magnetized to the stage!

There is no let up as my favourite band of the night CRY FOR SILENCE take to the stage. This North London metal outfit rocked the venue to it's core. Having toured with From Autumn to Ashes and the Bedford bound Fightstar and having played with The Distillers and Funeral for a Friend, tonight they played songs from their current EP 'The Longest Day' which on tonights performance is well worth a purchase.
