Tokyo Dragons, Gain, The Occasion.

Tonight we see THE TOKYO DRAGONS make a welcome return to Esquires. They last played in October 2004 supporting the fantastic 'Winnebago Deal' when their brand of no nonsense rock went down a storm. A good deal of old and new faces turn out to see them as headliners and once again they blow the crowd away with their heads down, irony free, stadium built anthems.

Tonight they are supported by local lads 'GAIN' who, having risen from the Battle of the Bands Competition, are gaining in confidence and getting a good feel of the stage - I enjoyed their set a lot. Unfortunately, the other band of the night 'THE OCCASION', seemed to suffer somewhat from nerves and their short set did not really do anything for me.
