Unfortanty I missed the first band being Dead On Holiday but after talking to the crowd well some of them I got the feeling that they were a bit feeder like but very good all the same. Sorry to any band members who read this I did not mean to miss your First band on were DEAD ON HOLIDAY
band.
Second band up were MOURNING CHORUS
Ok so they did a lot of covers and they made some mistakes but they were still good and very entertaining with their performance art in the background and all, They got most of the crowd moving so they could not have been that bad, the covers they did, - did leave one or two people a bit agitated but that’s only because they love the originals so much, I believe its going to be worth looking out for the next gig just to see how they improve and evolve.
The last band up (headliner) were SAINTS OF EDEN
Now I’m kind of stuck for words to describe this lot as they were fucking amazing, I think they caught most people off guard as I don’t think any one was expecting such an impressive band to play at Esquires I would have to say they were one of the best bands I have ever seen play there possibly even the best, They just have so much energy and power behind there music and got every one moving and just left every one buzzing there going to be one to look out for and I will be very disappointed if they don’t play again and if I don’t see you all there when they do!
The hole night was excellent and well worth being there ‘worth coming back to Bedford for’, - one mate in the crowd ‘Ditch’ (lives in London).
